We are announcing our retirement, effective
September 30, 2014.
Mary and I have both reached the age of 70 and feel it's
time to relax.
Our plan is to sell everything in the store by
September 30, including
machines, sewing cabinets, desks, computers, shelving,
cupboards, printers, chairs, etc.

New machines may be purchased through the 20th of
September at the discounts we have established for the
weekly close out as listed below.

Modern Domestic has agreed to give you guide classes at
no charge. We will give you a Certificate of Purchase
with each machine purchased. Any classes that have not
been completed at The Sewing Room by

Bernina machines will be honored by Modern Domestic.
We will accept machines for tune-up and repair
until September 20th.
These machines MUST BE picked up no later
than September 27th.
The Sewing Room will not be responsible for any machine
left after that time.
After the 20th, you may take your machines to Modern
Domestic for your tune-ups and repairs.
There will be no Club this month as both Cynthia and
Betty will be traveling part or all of September. They
have so enjoyed getting to know and visit with you each
month and seeing all the wonderful projects you have
created. We have learned as much from each of you as
you have hopefully learned from us.
As The Sewing Room closes out it's inventory, be sure to
come in and take advantage of the discounted prices on
the embroidery collections (how can you go wrong with
50% off?), as well as stabilizers and other embroidery
The Sewing Room has truly enjoyed getting to know all of
you and appreciated the privilege of serving you over
the years. We will miss helping you grow in your
sewing, quilting and embroidering journeys, as well as
learning from you. Please be sure to stop in one more
time to say goodbye.
